And on that note, do you usually start in greyscale, then move onto colour? I love painting in greyscale but transferring it to colour seems to be my ultimate demise. S:

I often do, yes. It's a habit I picked up from concept art. Digital lets you get away with a lot. The key is to paint your greyscale up to about eighty percent finish. THEN jump to color and finish up with color opaque after a colorizing layer. It's cake!
