Lol.. Death ray? Tesla grew up surrounded by war, and was pretty against it. He tried to invent the deathray to give to EVERYONE, to end war. A sort of scimitar to the ever growing pupae of the arms race. What an awesome guy though, lighting flying out of his hilltop laboratory, and his transforming a building in New York into the worlds largest resonance speaker... *sigh*... Madness/genius is so rare these days... I would have loved hanging with this man.

Great work man, It is rather infuriating how such an incredible person as Tesla remains in the background of history, while the thief/fraud that is edison is a rolemodel and a hero. The ignorance of the masses is deafening.

This is awesome, in a wild weird way. I've seen this style before of the big heavy heads with alot of details. It's not easy to pull off so congrats on that. I especially dig the brush strokes in the hair makes it very lively in counterpoint to the static expressions of the subjects. Sort of ironic and funny. This kind of stuff makes me glad I can put you on Dev watch! So I don't miss what comes next.

very cool image. i love the texture of the piece, and the visual style. very unique and interesting. tesla and edison are incredible historical figures, and while tesla definitely takes the weird-cake, i seem to remember that edison has some quirks of his own. awesome piece.

his point is that while tesla was working for edison, it was tesla that made the discoveries that made edison famous. Edison is a fraud.

i beg to differ on afew notions regarding tesla though. did he really make our lives luxurious? or made us slave to wires and electrocity? cuz it is possible to make everlasting betteries for each household.. but that is not quite profitable now is it?
tesla is an alien. forgotten genius, certainly reshaped the civilization. edison on the other hand, is cool. he made alot of cool toys.

That's alright Testla's nothing, Edison was a genius that invented a light bulb that never burnt out... but it wasn't a very profitable idea so there is only one in the world... Some firehouse, don't remember where. I'm partial to Edison though I live in his back yard.

I've seen is a conspiracy theory website (the kind that says that the wheat we eat comes from aliens) that Tesla had plans to provide the world a revolutionary source of cheap energy, but then he was somehow silenced from bringing these plans to fruition. Total hogwash probably, but it doesn't stop him from being one of my favourite inventors. And if that's actually true... well, so much the better. I'd dig up the URL but I've lost it. Damn.
