Excellent Javier!
Now it reminds me of the days...Ravi Shankar, when it comes to Citar...Norwegian Wood by the Beatles, one of the very first songs that was accompaniment citar instrument!

Most of the things I remember are Beatle songs used
in the advertisement by companies. Recently... Fidelity Insurance, Paul McCartney appeared in it too.

Sometimes we don't remember...suddenly when you see a tv commercial and the sounds/music/songs started playing too familiar! BAM! Some memories triggers in your mind when you first heard it or where where you when that certain music was played. There you go... you kinda remember right away who's music it is!

It's like..."hey I knew that song!" You young people of today have know idea!
Some of the younger generations [my nieces/nephews] I talked to sometimes think it was made only for the commercial alone! Sometimes I tell them the original, go to the record/cd store and try this one, that one...hear the original.

yup, that happens 2 me all the time to me with my sons and daughter, I remember when Christina recorded Lady Marmalade, was hard for me to make my daughter believe the original was recorded back in my college days and it was far better!

I know, I know...sometimes you have to argue or debate them.
But its fun when they found out it was true your telling about... and tell about
a little bit about the musician/s/artist/s life or trivia about the song/lyrics. It's nice interaction between generations. They later appreciate what kind of music you dig and still it is being played or turned into a modern version!

One of my sons is more a fan of the 80's than me! lol, I really collect everything from the 60's up to the early 90's, probably blues traveler are my most recent heroes, but The Beatles are still my guys at the top! Not much into the 50's....

Me and my brother I have CD's collection, more of assorted some best of 60's, 70's and 80's and a few 90's. Not alot but will make you listen and listen to dream and trip upon the music and lyrics!
Yeah, and the Beatles CD's are pretty much expensive even if it is still on sale. Unless you have a pirated one, which sometimes doesn't deliver nice music quality.
In our old house, I think we still have some Carlos Santana album, but I guess it must be damage by now since no one is looking after the record albums we have there.
