So, I haven't submitted anything for a good long while and most of the things I'm working on right now (commissions and portfolio work, if you're curious( I won't really be able to share, so I thought I'd upload my personal designs for some of the Lost Continent characters. I started an illustration with some of them in it and really struggled with it, because not only was I drawing a pretty complex background, I was designing the characters from scratch, too! So I sat down and did designs for Blue, Luna, Sundew and Cricket (although I won't be sharing the latter two for a few weeks because I'm busy and they're still sketches); hopefully, I'll be able to get to Swordtail and some of the more minor characters soon.

I had so much fun designing Luna. I don't know what possessed me to do... soft pinks and greens and yellows, but I love her design? Don't be fooled though, Luna could absolutely beat you up. Like blue, she's got the 'flower before bloom' type wingbuds that I've always imagined when reading these books and the more butterfly-ish wings. Of course, I then realized that she and her brother looked nothing alike, so I gave her blue wings (which I think is in the book) so they'll match a bit after their metamorphosis.

I'd also absolutely adore it if you guys wanted to use my designs for these characters! (Although tag me if you do because I'd LOVE to see.)
