I remember the twins who went to college with me had all these Transformer toys.Β One evening after drinks and gaming, they showed me the "trophy room" and it was mind-boggling.Β They must have had two of those Devastators, perhaps three since I thought I remembered seeing one disassembled.Β They also had a good chuck of the entire collection up to that point ...
... However, they got robbed about a year later and their apartment was stripped.Β Now, while terrible, I remember telling them that you should be careful who comes up into the apartment.Β Apparently the robbers had a key to the place.

At one stage I started to buy the G1 toys and some of the Masterpiece models, but it just got way too expensive! There are so many of them - it must've been amazing seeing a room full of them!!

I always thought that someone was really giving them some serious cash; the stuff was brand new and always the newest from what I gathered.Β I know they came from a rich family.Β Right after they got robbed, they moved out of the area ... cannot say I blame them.

Indeed.Β I felt bad for them like I said before ... a pair of nice lads who often helped friends out with rides and food when they could since their parents often gave them more than enough.
