Ruff Stuff Sketchbook review, 6x8 inches (15.2x20.3cm) about 3 quarters the size of a comic book today.
There are 48 pages of sketches if you count front and back side of each page, some published stuff, but for the most part you will not find this stuff any where online, trust me a have a folder of JSC art work with over 1k of images.
This is perfect if you love JSC art work and like pencils, or you need some reference work or learn from.
This is a horizontal and vertical book, and the back cover is thick and helps to keep it form, not like a comic book that can bend in half. The front cover is only printed on the front and blank on the other side (mine is signed).
The vary first and last page have little art work but lots of credits, and nothing but art work in the rest of the book, some of the pin ups cover two pages but still have little ruffs on the edges.
As far as sketch books go I just wish it were a little bigger but by far the best sketch books I have in my collection and I have been collecting for over 30 years.
Gets a solid 10 out of 10 for the content in the two books, total cost with shipping 50 bucks if you live in the U.S.
Thanks for reading, this one is a must have for all JSC fans, Carl Miller

Very nice and inspiring stuff.
I always loved your linework but with these your lines really come to life.
Its a whole other story seeing these printed.
I dont think u'll answer that one but I'll ask anyway for the heck of it: Did you really sit there and sign all of these!?
I cannot imagine how many you actually had to sign... must've been one hell uva workout pretty cool that you even matched the signature with the orientation of the respective sketchbook.

Well if you think about it he probably has a big stack of them and just signs them when he gets board, I look at both of my books and they are not the same so not digital, I am 100% sure he singed all of them.

Love it. There's just something that the sketches give you that the finished works just don't.

Picked these up at Comic Con this year. Hands down one of the best purchases I made. So awesome to see the thinking process that goes into a drawing! Now if we could only get some of that Star Wars art made final from the sketches...
