Personally, I think Scizor would be a better partner for Ruby. But I would say that along with a Seviper, she should have a Shiny Absol as well.

OH MY GOD, THIS IS TOO AWESOME! Just seeing a pokemon, on top of Ruby's scythe like that is too epic for words. It's even better, when it's mega Absol. Aside form the awesome pose, the colouring, details and lighting are fantastic.
