The weather started making the switch from warm to cool. A soft breeze tousled Mishka’s black hair as she sighed. she and her Takota, Feather, were out on a hunt this day. they had started a couple of hours ago and started tracking what seemed to be a young male fox, they would see footprints and smell his musk through the air so they knew he was close. Mishka packed for a small trip, not thinking this would take much longer than a few days. a bed roll, her spear, and a small stack of rations was all she carried with her. Feather plodded along, the white of her fur a stark contrast to the greens and browns in the area. Mishka was thinking of taking a nice break when a noise caught both their attentions. a dark colored fox dashed from behind the rock and the chase was on.
