Description Here it is! A node-based material that can get diffraction in cycles, and easily editable .

The render in the image have the IOR of diamond (2,4). And it's only a prism and a white square emitter.

Diamond: img24.imageshack.us/img24/635/… (Very fast render in cpu, only 250 passes + compositing)

It takes so long to render, so I only recommend it if you just want to try it, or you have a CUDA capable gpu (I haven't, I rendered this with a Phenom II X4).

Hope you like it! I have uploaded too the blend file.

I tried it on my machine, but even at 2000 passes, it seemed to have a ton of fireflies left on the glass and the surfaces that were receiving light through the glass. Though, with global illumination setup, it was much more manageable.

Yes. It needs tons of passes and bounces. I hope openCl will be implemented soon!
