Technician: Graham Richardson
Subject: Rikugou 417A

As I was saying in my previous report Riku 417A has obviously surpassed her original programming as we have seen in a few other Rikugous accomplish in the past. What exactly causes it? Again I am at a loss. I have enclosed a few images of her along with a full Sentience Application Review that was taken just 4 days ago. With this message I have filed a request to re-classify Rikugou 417A to a level 5 sentient android.
Besides the review I can tell you first hand of her uniqueness and being self-aware.

*She has a particular interest in movement and dance. This goes beyond emulation. I first noticed it when I caught her spending time in the one of the Lab’s wading pools. She would purposely spin-down her right internal gyro leaving her only the left to compensate for balance. She then would attempt to run, walk, spin and jump up and down in the pool. Most of the time she seemed quite shocked and thrilled to fall on her butt or land face first. At first we thought it was a mechanical issue but she assured us that she disabled the gyro herself and would spin it back up once she was needed elsewhere.

*She also does this (see image).. When not being directly attended to at the Lab she turns her attention to whatever camera is monitoring her and ‘makes faces’ and other such juvenile behaviour.
