I just find it slightly funny that Turmoil is one of those few 3% of all villains who vow their revenge, but never do it due to cancellation or some other reason...<"SWAT kats" belong to Hanna Barbera>

I got one question about the one of this series' cancelation theories. If they cancelled it becauseΒ they thoughtΒ that it was too violent, then why air it in the first place?

I don't mean to offend the Swat Kats fanbase, but I heard that was a theory why the show was cancelled. After watching some episodes, I began to love this show. I hope to become a member of the fan group.

The truth is : nobody knows. A popular theory is that it was the violence, others claim the franchise didn't sell good enough, and I even heard some supernatural speculations, that one of the board members had a personal quarrel with one of the creators and as revenge cancelled the show in its peak.
Personally, I don't think it was due to the violence, because:
A)Hanna Barbera had many 'violent' shows before this one(Tom and Jerry being a great example);
B)Even after the cancellation it created violent cartoons (Some episodes of Powerpuff girls are NOT Β that fluffy and cuddly);
C)Cartoon network ALWAYS had some sort of action/violence/hero cartoon show running (like Batman).
So, I really doubt it was the violence; I guess it could have been not selling the franchise, not having a fan base big enough, high animation costs or even the supernatural vendetta theory above.Β

Let's hope that the same actors can and will come back to do the voices once again... For it being cancelled for so long, some may have died, not want to, or who knows! ><
I hate it when they muck up the original stars of a toon for either originality or something to do with the actors!

Jungle Book and Jungle Book 2 (toon version) is a great example by the char Baloo! A char's voice can't literally change from low, smooth sounding and singing to semi-low sounding and rough scratchy singing voice!
I mean really, Disney F'd up bad in that one and then turned around and claimed it was to be "original" for that character and to not be the "same".
Come on.... Really? Where's the sense in that? Stupid really.
Dont get me wrong I love the songs and over-all movie of JB2 it's just that char's voice that irks me...
