The reason behind the comic is that in the heap of watching TSS I started to wonder what cryptids my own nation has (I mean, even Greece was mentioned in one of the eps with their lake monster).
Historically, since Lithuania was the very last nation in Europe to change from Paganism to Christianity it still has very deep folklore roots. There were many myths about random legendary creatures (most of which lived in the swamps, as Lithuania was full of them), but the most interesting IMHO was about a laumė - a beautiful swamp witch who made all sorts of trouble: kidnapped infants, lured men to the swamps, and (God knows why) sticked horse mane with wax...

Those pagans sure knew how to party, huh?

Panel 6: "Hello!";
