Your painting is...again...a masterpiece. You are so good with details and with watercolors in general. The colors are so harmonious.
Because I can't stop thinking about your artwork, I have to ask you...
Why did you choose this for the theme "Summertime"?
I just couldn't come up with how this is summer related, I'm sorry if I sound uneducated, but I really want to know your thoughts on this painting.

Thank you for writing to me and for your thoughts. I also thought if it's that way related, but again...I just wasn't sure as the rest of our admin team
The painting is soooo beautiful. We were all disappointed for not being able to chose it, because it just didn't "fit" with the summertime theme. Those mushrooms...I looked on Wikipedia to see when it's the season time, but yet couldn't find the connection with summer.

Hah I have no idea, I'm not the artist, it was simply my thought on the picture! Well, even if it didn't fit in with the contest- it is a great piece standing on its own. The artist should be proud.
