Description Woah, this is something else!
Your odd dragoness is trying to beckon you into this watery neon scene, and with no sense of what's real, you might take her up on the invitation to...where exactly? Ah, don't keep her waiting though, this is one thing you have to trust your gut on. After all, she always trusts her gut.

Put this together in almost 10 man-hours, including the rabbit-holes of looping the particle system (the falling leaves), learning about asset libraries to cut down on clutter in scenes, re-rendering at least 40 times, and at least trying to loop a song to match . Won't take near as long next time, and perhaps next time the audio will be a perfect loop, it's a little tricky!

I'm a big fan of multimedia bits where a character and scene are animated like this, in a loop while music fills the mood. Just a short pose and some effects to make the piece more interesting. Prime examples of these kind of pieces from back in the days of Flash, you have to allow the player for these:

Sky Ocean  (new but still Flash

Tons more animations lost to time and dead sites, and the fact that Flash Player is going the way of the dodo. Webm is where it's at, but DA and Apple products don't like! Maybe i'll get skilled enough soon to render something crazy awesome like that last piece and still encode it to Flash here in 2020

Alright enough gab, hope you guys enjoy this weird little ditty. Probably more to come!

Oh damn, that was lovely. Love the trees and how they sway, and the animation is so smooth. Well done!

Thanks so much!
The tree movement was actually very straightforward, took the leaves aside and set them to "displace" with the value going up and down a few times over the loop. Pretty cool stuff!

This is looking awesome, I can tell you did fantastic in the setup of her interested in company for exploration. A perfect choice of audio that the work on making loop correctly paid off on.

The falling leaves is something I know I appreciated being included and can tell others absolutely will too. All her movements don't look stiff at all to me, and the dedication to a good rendering shows notably good as well.

Thanks for the feedback bro, I value it a ton.

There's a few tricks to eliminating stiff movement from animation, some of it's taken care of already in short scenes like this using a certain technique, but other scenes and characters can take a lot more time for manual detail.

No problem at all, was definitely fun to share thoughts and you've got the family member stamp of approval with how good you're doing at this.

Great to hear some of the stiffness gets taken care of in shorter/simpler ways, but I'm not surprised at all that manual work had to go for some details not to look blatantly off.
