This is just a very quick painting I've thrown together for my School's After-Grad auction.
I was going to paint Jack Sparrow, but then there would be no way I could part with it...but this one is no better.
***It sold for $150 at the auction!!***
Considering how fast I put this together, I'm extremley pleased with the results. I think I'm really getting the hang of Acrylics and I hope to paint with them more in the future (when I have less work on my plate, that is)
This took me around...I'm guessing here....6 hours? Maybe more, maybe less
I wish I could tell you, but I really have no idea.Keep in mind, this isn't the best painting that I've done, but I figured I would post it up on here for kicks and giggles (and to get a little diversity in my gallery) so don't be too harsh on my technique

unbelievable man!!!! I really like the colors you used! I'm thinking about starting to draw using color pencils... I haven't tried it yet, but I really find it interesting. Please visit my Rango too!

Go for it! You'll never know until you try.
Also, don't be afraid to experiment with the colours. Add cool tones such as blues and greens to push objects back into space, and warm tones to pull them forward. Just because an image shows you a specific colour, doesn't mean that you have to copy it exact!
