You know ... in a way I wondered about this too. But before the last episodes were aired, I even wondered if the resentment for Starlight Glimmer could have been actually some kind of failure or being denied being the pupil of Celestia while Sunset's did!  I've played and wondered a bit, searching as motivation of her hatred for the cutie mark the fact that she's supposed to have one related to powerful magic but not "good enough" like Sunset's... and that's why she could have attempted her utopia to equalize all the cutie marks.

Well... I knew I had not have expectations after my own wondering, but I quite enjoyed these two episodes and redeeming the character.
What I fear however it's when and how they will bring the courage to "bring back" Sunset into Equestria: the only option could be if the REAL human Sunset would appear in their world, exactly as the human Twilight appeared...

*screams* OK Sunset makes sence, But But Starlight? I know she is good now but still, I don't think she will have a chanse for a long time x3 sunset Has benn "hitend" at becoming a alacorn but.. but..

Screw Starlight Glimmer! She's a heartless monster!! Sorry, but her being redeemed after all the crap she did just rubbed me the wrong way.
