Jacob isn't the type of person to leave anyone behind, let along BR-1, but when the Evacuation Ship finally lands, it will be 12s before it leaves, and with no Titan in sign to guard the ship before the shields are down and it gets shot down, that's it. Black Rose gone hurt in battle, and the Evac Ship it just minutes away from arriving, some of the troops are fighting, some in there Titans already, other hiding, waiting for Evac, just as Jacob's Titan was about to make it to him, it get's destroyed, so BR-1 goes back into it's body, as things starts to heat up, she got caught in an explosion made by a enemy Titan. Jacob immediately goes back for her, sure she could always leave the body and heads back into Jacob's Radio set, but Jacob feels he has to do this, of all the times she helped him while being in control of the Titan, he felt he had to pay her back as they make there to the Evac Ship.

This was fun to draw, plus it gives a bit of an insight of how she looks in that spectre's body, I was able to find that type of spectre in-game as I was in a match, I just came across it as I was fight, i was able to take a picture of how it looked so you all could see sta.sh/01xsjb8hciwk

In-game, as you leave your Titan, it then goes to auto-pilot mode, and you can change it to Guard Mode, and have it stand guard to protect this area, or Follow Mode, and have it follow you around, just to help give an insight to how BR-1 is with the Titan, this Trailer should help give a great example of how loyal she is to Jacob.
