Been fan-girling over the BLAME! Netflix movie for the past week, since I've been a Tsutomu Nihei fan from the first moment I discovered BLAME! (back when Tokyopop localized the manga). There's only one outlet when I'm geeking out hardcore like this, and it's fanart. So here's Killy in all his wonderful GBE-wielding glory. The new Master Editions of the BLAME! manga made it so much easier to figure out his outfit from the Vol. 1 cover. I also tried to carry over some of the colors that I see on Nihei's old BLAME! color illustrations.

Pertaining to the movie, my favorite moment was when Killy knifed the Safeguard in the automated factory with his blunt blade. That moment was so cool, and seeing him fight in close quarters is always rather sweet. I hope a DVD is released, 'cause I'll buy it. Already got the soundtrack and the Nihei concept art book coming my way.
