Description
A tree slowly succumbs to the laws of gravity over time. From the spatter of water that comes into contact with the fallen aspen, and the dry air of Colorado, gravity works as it always has, warping the log into its current condition.I was fortunate to have a natural neutral density filter from nearby forest fires. The smoke produced from the fires hazed over the sun, creating much uniform dark conditions compared to a normal mid-day shot. This allowed me to drag my shutter speed out long enough for the flowing water and movement in the tree limbs from the breezes.
