Description
I wanted to see if Sonic Blast looked anymore 3D with 8 extra bits, and I think I did an alright job, especially on Sonic himself. Although, the the new mountainous background I made didn't really turn out that well, I feel.Please give credit to me if any sprites from this deviation are used in anything.

I think you're talking about Sonic 3D Blast, which was released on the Sega Genesis, and later got a Saturn port. This is just Sonic Blast, which was released on the Game Gear, and on the Master System in Brazil.

Yeah, it is a bit more obscure. I used to play it alot on my PS2, since the Game Gear version was included in Sonic Mega Collection Plus.

Back than people sold these things infamously know as yellow discs and having the price for it at a low price, the reason for that is because they where cheaply made and can be broke easily, the only way people knew it was a yellow disc is when they reflected the back into light, it was dark times for the PS2 era.

It was a something from the Blockbuster days, companies couldn't put many copies of the same game on shelf, they created the yellow disc which was cheaply made, it could damage a disc in a day of usage, that's what happened to my copy of Sonic Mega Collection, it broke, the only game I played was Sonic 2 for less than a week before it broke, it looks like it's still in good condition too.

I enjoy it a little. I think there are many other Sonic games that are far better than it, thus ranking Blast quite low on my list, but that doesn't mean I hate it

Oh my GOD! Mind blown! A game that sucks, but uses pre-rendered graphics, and turned into Mania, is just flawless!

Heh, actually, it's supposed to be in the style of the Genesis (Not really one of the original Sonic games on the Genesis in particular, just an attempt to make it 16-bit in general), not the Mania style; but I was thinking about making the Sonic sprite here in the Mania style before I began work on this deviation, and I may actually return to that idea.
