Watercolor Pencils, Graphite, Pen (mixed media)Assingment was called "I Robot"
The idea popped into my head at about 11:30 last night and well...here it is, hope you like it!

I love the way you color the background and all the mixture of colors on this one, looks rather nice.
I believe this is really well done composition-wise and also the technique, however what bothers me the most about the work is the line work you did with pen, specially on the smoke coming from the cigarrette, it looks messy and I think it would have looked better if you would have done the smoke with the watercolors only without the pen lines.
Background is my favourite part, the mix of colors and the effects you did there look awesome, but some of the colors went inside some of your lines in the upper part of his head and nose as well, so be careful with that or you can use masking fluid to protect the areas you don't want to color.
Overall I love the composition and all the elements you've added, the image is very interesting and my eyes wander around trying to catch all the details of it. Nice work!

Oh wow. This is like, brilliant. Your details are just fantastic...there's so much to look at! This reminds me of the book "It's Kind of a Funny Story" (really good if you haven't read it btw), because the guy would draw maps inside sihlouettes of people's heads. This is an amazing picture, instant fave.
