Description

Hello folks!

I finally made it. My tutorial about how I use to do my SpaceArt backgrounds. I was asked about it several times before and it was on my list for quite a long time. And now it's done. Sure, it is not perfect and I'm still quite unexperienced in doing tutorials, but I hope that it's at least a bit helpful to some people who want to start drawing some SpaceArt. The interfaces I've put into this to show the certain steps are from ClipStudio Paint, but it also works very well in MediBang Paint Pro with similar tools. Sorry btw. that my interface is in german. I translated the key elements so you know what is meant in the layer section. But if anything is unclear, feel free to ask me.

I tried hard to boil down the drawing process to some key elements without going too much into details. I hinted certain things like how to make surface structures on objects or how to use the fingertip tool. But to be honest, I have no golden rule here I can offer you on how to wipe the clouds to make them look like nebula. I highly encourage you to find your way of using this tool to create nebula and clouds in your own style. I also recommend to use references. That helped me a lot when I started my first pictures.

Most things I present in here are the result of experiments and self-taught methods I tested out for roughly a year now. I'm aware of the fact that my Backgrounds are not the very best and that I also have to learn a lot as well but I hope that this tutorial might offer some Space enthusiasts a good starting point to do their own art. It surely is not that difficult and it can be huge fun to play around with colors and compositions of planets.

There is a lot of SpaceArt out there but lets be honest. It will never be enough So let's all create more beautiful and stellar drawings!

And as always. Feel free to like and comment!

Tell me if you like to see more of this or whether I should focus on another aspect of SpaceArt next time.
