thank you! actually, like many of my pieces, it's a double-meaning haiku -
you got the 2nd half of the duelness - the first part is that i really do have a wasp nest in my mailbox, and it's hard to retrieve the bills or any other piece of mail just now.

It's amazing how often other people's haiku mirror something in my life. I keep finding snail shells in the house (off of plants that I had outside last summer and brought in for the winter). Most of them are empty but a few still have live snails. It's too cold to toss them outside.
