Description
Next up are the mothers to the protagonists of AWNGO.Alexandria, who never has a last name, as she is a runaway from an orphanage and is unofficially wed to Melphisto, is the biological mother to Jax Vorhaus. She had him at a very young age and initially was impatient and aggressive the first year raising him but mellowed out upon bringing him to Vorhaus manor, where he was also in the care of the servants and nannies. Alexandria was madly in love with Melphisto, often to the point that she would allow him to manipulate her into actions she wouldn’t normally be willing to do. However, she would occasionally make trips out of the forest Melphisto was cursed to and that was when she met John, who had just retired as a pirate. He was enchanted by her and pursued her, constantly returning to the edge of the forest in hopes of running into her again. This would enrage Melphisto, who had spied the two enjoying each other’s company and Alexandria had to convince John to not return. Yet, John would instead counter offer her a deal: he would stop searching for her if she would agree to three dates with him. She reluctantly agrees, at first, only to find that she not only enjoys the high lifestyle he lives but also his personality and sense of humor. She eventually decides to stay away from Melphisto and pursue John, meeting his father and agreeing to a relationship. It comes to an end, though, when John proposes to her and she becomes overwhelmed by the anxiety of becoming something she is not and acknowledges the comfort and love she has for Melphisto. She runs back to Melphisto and disappears for awhile until she returns, appearing in fear, with a baby Jax. Of course, that lasts roughly six years before she runs back, once again, to Melphisto.
Gaia Amon is Faith’s biological mother and the god of nature. She has the abilities to control plants. (A strange similarity to another character….hmmmm) Gaia was a favorite amongst the gods, catching the eye of both Morganna and Melphisto. (Far before Alexandria came in to the picture) A lot of Fearians and the other gods thought the natural pick for Gaia would be Morganna but Gaia became attached to Melphisto and the two had a relationship behind most of the gods’ backs. Unfortunately, the relationship would end when Jehovah interfered by playing both their insecurities. Using this to her advantage, she sent Gaia on a mission to kill Melphisto by lying to her, but Gaia could only muster the strength to bind him as a curse to a forest, making him angry and resentful. Soon after, she learns of how she was manipulated and that Melphisto was not guilty of the crimes Jehovah claimed as well as that she was now being framed for the murder attempt on Melphisto. It is against ancient laws for gods to kill each other. Gaia ends up obtaining a spell to transport worlds from another God, Chronos, and that is when she ends up falling in love with Simon.
Last but not least is Luci Bauer, biological mother to Azume and unofficial adoptive mother to Faith. When Faith was a teenager, she would begin a relationship with Azume. Azume and Faith became attached to each other’s hips from day one and Faith would be at Luci and Azume’s house almost daily, prompting Luci to wonder about Faith’s home life. Luci works as a marketing administrator and learns from her co-workers that Faith is rumored to have no living parents and that her distant relatives (Simon’s family) are in charge of her inheritance. It was well known that Simon was very good at saving money and in preparation to the birth of his daughter, had put money away for her as well as made plans in the event that he didn’t see her grow up. Luci, being partly nosy but also very concerned, follows Faith to her home and witnesses her uncle beating her. She finds out that Faith’s distant relatives have indeed been bleeding her financially dry, having used up most of her inheritance for selfish desires and she blackmails the family into allowing Faith to live with her. She becomes incredibly close to Faith, and Faith cherishes their relationship so much that after Azume leaves for college, breaking things of with her, she stays behind to look after Luci when she becomes sick. Luci ends up dying, unfortunately, due to liver failure, and sadly, this becomes a catalyst to a deeply troubled and depressed Faith.
