New stuff!
It started out as hair practice, and actually turned out pretty good.
Crit me please. i could use some hints on how to improve more with my hair... (unnatural colors are a bitch.)

evern if I wanted to critic you to help you become better, the fact is that that hair just looks amazing. I have both a weakness for black raven hair, and clear blue (even if its unrealistic!), wit a minor one for auburn... but this just looks astounding and beutiful, it rocks.
it gaves a few ideas for an scene for a character, I hope you don't mind if i feature it when I have the scene writen

From Ericanii's crit:
"You're using a warm light, and though that usually casts cool shadows when its against a cool color the shadows also look warm in contrast."
The lighting looks very studio (like, models in magazines 'studio' )...and truly, the shadows cast and colors portrayed by studio lighting seem naturally true to your art in this case. If that's the effect you're reaching for, you've got it!
as a personal preference, I prefer natural lighting to studio lighting. I notice natural lighting brings in A LOT more color variation as shadows/highlights and such. I think that would be something cool to toy with. Because what Ericanii is suggesting is for you to work up on some tricks to get a more 'natural' appeal to your 'unnatural' haircolors - and I agree that it all has to do with color variation. Being aware of where warms and cools belong and don't belong. Synthetic (studio) lighting tends to make what they illuminate seem very synthetic and lifeless (take a look through VOGUE mag, check out their ads. notice any models that seem particularly 'lifeless'? ). Certainly, to an extent - depending on what the ad is for, the intent is for the model to appear as lifeless and 'manikin-ish' as possible....so naturally, unnatural. But that's not what you sound like you're going for.
Giving the character/model more life (in skintone and such) will sort of inherently influence 'life' in the hair. Follow? I think you should study how natural light plays on skin/clothes/hair/textures/color to really get a feel for experimentation with what Ericanii is suggesting

If this was a practise for hair, then I'll say that you suceeded for sure! The hair looks amazing! It almost lets me know what kind of music she could be listening, weird I know. But really!
