This one is made by indian ink and water. I cant tress this enough. Don´t be afraid of contrasts and blackness. In this one I coverd the entire right leg with ink.

If you put som part of the body in shadow (dosent nessesary be totally black), an arm or a leg for exampel, it will seem that its further back in the room.
But if you leave something white it will pop out and "come forward". I use this effect all the time to emphasize the pose. Lock around in my croquis for more exampels.

Hmmm.....Its basically the same as doing shadows and highlights.
