Description
What would've happened if Saito didn't remember the deal... I guess... I dunno... XD;;First of three random things I drew while waiting for my professors to come in and get ready (and sometimes during the lectures) last week.
Really, this was an idea that came to mind during my second viewing of Inception (out of four), which was my IMAX viewing: When Cobb looks at Saito to try to determine whether or not Saito's brains got scrambled in Limbo, I smiled because he had the most intense expression that almost looked like he was gonna punch him if he didn't remember
Poor Cobb. He has no idea.

Fail. I laughed so hard the first time I saw this. I never thought of it that way.

Sorry I didn't mean to be disrespectful either. I had just watched the movie and came out with my interpretation of that scene and then i read your comment. lol! I guess it could have been translated like that too after watching that scene the second time. But my "inception" of it was different the first time I watched this.

Oh, no worries at all! Yeah, after watching it so many times myself, I really love looking at the movie from different angles. Every time I've seen it, I visually see something new, and I also see a new sort of view point on some of the different theories other people have come up with. It hasn't gotten old yet! lol XD

It was the final musical score from the moment Cobb wakes up till the end of the movie that got me. And also Saito's shaken up looks when he woke up. He had just realised that he had been saved otherwise he was going to die. In the end they both needed to wake up from Limbo to help each other. Cobb for his kids and Saito for actually coming back to reality from the Limbo state.

That comic is an insult to what really happened. And only someone who didn't understand the whole story or that scene could translate it like that.
It was more like this:
Cobb and Saito look at each other with amazement, friendship, love and sacrifice. Cobb actually went into Limbo to bring back Saito alive. Their look was also a look of the realisation of what they have just done in the dream and how they escaped and are successful in their goals.
Saito didnβt need βremindingβ or βconvincingβ in order to make the phone call. As soon as he woke up and realised what has just happened, he willingly reached out to make the phone call. He was saved from death by a friend (Cobb) who told him they could come to reality and βlive together as young menβ. Such a friend doesn't need convincing or reminding in order to be helped in return.
This was the most emotional part of the movie for me. Actually made me cry.

I'm sorry that it felt insulting to you, I didn't mean to come across as disrespecting to the scene or the film Really, that whole ending sequence (along with the scene between Fischer and his father in Eames's dream level) left me teary eyed. However, I'm actually really glad to see your appreciation for the scene as it contributes towards the emotional connection between the characters, since Cobb and Saito are usually seen as just sort of business partners. It's so great to see more people delve into the movie in such depth

I totally saw this happening when I saw the movie.
I was like "O: Cobb is totally going to get arrested when he gets off the plane.!!"
Great minds think alike I guess. xD

Don't worry, once his kids graduate college and get jobs, they'll probably bail him out! Hm... this may take a while... lol

Very cool! Also, "There's a man glaring suspiciously at my on my airplane" made me laugh! Saito may have forgotten the agreement, but he remembers that he bought the airline!
And security puts him on hold, LOL! They're out of a job for sure.

Nice!
For some reason what Saito was saying on the phone reminded of the commercials with "help I've fallen and I can't get up!" I have no idea why!
