Saito: Lol, Fischer.
Fischer: *continues rolling*
Cobb, if you wanted Saito to be the one to lead Fischer down into the building, just say so...
I noticed this during either my second or third viewing... because the first time I was having enough trouble trying to remember who was who since I was much more focused on the plot than the characters.
I actually sketched this last week, but I forgot where I put it until I found it in one of my history books a few days ago

Sorry to criticise again, but I don't see anything wrong with this scene. I had to watch this scene the second time to realise what happened.
A lot of times they say things in the movie to explain things to the viewer, otherwise the viewer may not understand why something was done. Or he/she may spend unnecessary time trying to figure out why something was done.
Many a time, you have to objectively pick the best choice by looking at the advantages or disadvantages of doing something or choosing something/someone for the right job.
And that's what they were basically doing - deciding who should take the job by giving reasons for those who cannot. In the end only one man stood - Saito! lol!

Yes, of course, when I looked at it again I realized that's totally Cobb, haha. But yes, Arthur would absolutely be the one accidentally left at the gas station. Him, or Yusef. Poor Yusef.

Yes. I accept this as cannon. On dream team family vacations (because you KNOW they go on family vacations), Eames intentionally leaves Arthur behind at rest stops, and Yusef takes way too long peeing. It are fact.
