I went on a 'bat research outing' in the Sutter Buttes earlier this month. This was one of the bats that was scienced upon.Related content

Wow, somebody's about to take off! Incredible capture of one beautiful Lasiurine. They're so elusive. Where's Sutter Buttes? I'm curious if he's an eastern or western red, s'why I'm asking.

I hope one day to explore the wilderness of the West Coast someday. I'm told the diversity of wildlife there is incredible! And maybe I'll even happen upon some bats, if I'm very lucky. Thanks for the reply!
