Description
Ephesus war 1803RTA Stampede II heavy Tank destroyer's machine gunner, shoots at suspected sniper's den. The ruins of a city that neighbours Dothan. Oddly enough, know that the gruellingly slow ground war in Dothan's hollowed grounds is a unique happening. No other front had devolved into a slow trench war. Shirudo soldiers consider themselves lucky, they're not fighting in those ruins they watch over. Dominion' gonna dominate!

Messy business... I'm curious, in meat-world, the introduction of Tanks to the battlefield made trench warfare virtually obsolete. why didn't that happen here?

Hmm, I dunno. Both sides in this front just like to hunker down? haha
Well, aside from my personal interest in drawing trenches( which is maybe 90% of why, hahah), my forces dig in and hold(especially the children of nordvest or sappers now) in high ground, with open spaces, to bait the enemy into attacking then let the air navy bomb them out. It's safer than say, duking it out on an urban setting.
But I guess they only do so when they want a secure place where they can safely use artillery to bomb cities or strongpoints. But,this tactic is easily defeated by the deployment of airships. We can handle planes, but those flying battleships, especially your dreadnoughts, would decimate my firebases.

For Interest sake, in this universe, and on all sides, is there any type of ground weapon that can propel its projectile to such an altitude as to actually damage an airship?

that is something I thought about but I dont think it exists, yet. My solution: igot a huge railway gun and made it fly. hahaha, that type of ship will become the mainstay of my air navy. Plus planes
