Description
This is an updated version of this . I was talking to a friend about how the original looked kinda flat and then I just ended up opening Photoshop and trying to fix it. I think it's an improvement, but I'm not going to redo the entire thing since I have other obligations ^.^; Let me know what you thiiinkkkk.
It's mostly a 3D render though there was quite a bit of post editing and a little painting here and there.

This is definitely better than the original, the colors are much much more crisper and dynamic. Man, I wish I can render like that... ; u ;
Did you use Cycles for this? Or plain old internal renderer? Nonetheless, this looks really awesome (followed you from Lemma forums btw)

Thanks! I used the internal renderer, but I made multiple renders which I composited together in Photoshop. One render used the approximate gather method, another used raytrace. I can't remember what the other settings were. I also used freestyle to render the line art (though I could do a lot better job of that today; I didn't re-render anything for this updated version...)

Oh wow thanks for sharing your work method! Haha, it never occurred to me to render multiple passes! Now excuse me while I crawl back to blender and try this one! Thanks again ^^
