Description
This is an updated version of this . I was talking to a friend about how the original looked kinda flat and then I just ended up opening Photoshop and trying to fix it. I think it's an improvement, but I'm not going to redo the entire thing since I have other obligations ^.^; Let me know what you thiiinkkkk.
It's mostly a 3D render though there was quite a bit of post editing and a little painting here and there.

I hear a BUNCH of folks COMPLAINING about TEACHERS.
Yet, those saying such ALL SEEM to have a GREAT EDUCATION! (SMILES)
AND, what OTHER profession, other than POLICE and FIRE and MILITARY, would and DO
take a BULLET to SAVE their KIDS they TEACH in schools OR LAY on TOP of kids to SAVE
them from TORNADOES, etc.?

Wooden tops of the tables and the wooden backs of the chairs seem the same tonal value to me, but I'd expect the tops to be lighter (perhaps even banded with light depending of the light source). I like the composition and colours.

This is going to sound super-nitpicky, but the dust on the chalkboard looks too random and not like it was recently used by an actual human being. Β Smears left behind by erasers look a lot streakier and directional than what you've portrayed.
The floor, walls, and desks also look way too perfect considering the state of the chalkboard and the rest of the room. Β Where are the scuff marks, the graffiti, the bits of gum, the trash, etc.?

It doesn't sound nitpicky! I agree with what you've said mostly. I /almost/ fixed the blackboard but I thought to myself "no... I've got other things to do and no one will probably see this anyway..." <- kinda wish I fixed it up now, haha. I also forgot to add in hands and numbers for the clock...Β
Though, about it being really clean: from my research Japanese classrooms (which this is intended to be) tend to be pretty clean, probably due to the fact that students are assigned one class and the teachers move to different rooms. They also don't have cleaners, the students clean their schools. So I imagine it'd create some degree of respect for cleanliness when you're the one who has to clean up your own mess. Even then I s'pose it's pretty clean, but hey, it's an anime school.

This is pretty, but the original looks like something from a comic, you know, It would be easier to fit characters into it for a strip.
