Yesterday I saw Ursula Vernon's painting "The Platypus's Garlic" and was so amazed and inspired that I made it into a sculpture.Made with Super Sculpey polymer clay, tin foil, bailing wire, and acrylic paints

Ursula Vernon is likely my favorite artist. I desperately want this sculpture as a table lamp!
The texture at the base of the onion is phenomenal. My eyeballs can feel it.

I really, really like how you used the end of the "rope" on the ground for support. Such an elegant solution to make a polymer clay garlic "float"! and

Thank you so much! that Garlic is pretty unstable if there is any air movement whatsoever.
