The Cthulhu mythos is always hard to imagine, at least for me now and then. But scenes and environments like this make the mythos all the more epic. This piece alone, has earned a Watch from me.

Am I reading this entirely wrong, or is the big twist that in a picture that bears his name and that involves deep ones, ion storms, giant space tentacles, a Cthulhu statue in plain sight and a ship with a rather suspicious name, Nyarlathotep - the crawling chaos and embodiment of subterfuge - is nowhere in sight?
If so, brilliant. If not, still brilliant.

It is a particularly terrifying take on the mythos if it involves the possibility that Kamen Rider, Dio Brando and Big Boss all are avatars of Nyarlathotep. But certainly not one I would refuse.

Hahaha yeah he is strikingly absent (or is he....?). This was done for a box cover though, so my assumption is that Nyarlathotep is actually hiding inside the game box.
