There's a little white spot above Modest's right eye in the last panel.

Okay, it's a a bit better that Gina did invite Modest. Granted she may have though Modest would forget and not show up. Still it is a little surprising that she gave her on in the first place.
I remember this one guy who's birthday I went to. A few months later after summer break he said since I didn't invite him to my birthday party he wasn't going to invite me to his next one. If I remember right, my birthday hadn't come up since then, as I was born in December, something I should have pointed out to him, but I was in elementary school at the time and didn't think of it. That said I also don't invite people to my birthday as it's more of a family thing. I go to my grandmother's house and her sons and grand kids show up. Later this was changed to my Uncle's house when he started hosting Christmas. I also didn't invite people as I didn't think anyone outside of the family would show up.
