Percy kept his distance but I knelt and moved closer to the little girl. “What an extraordinary dollhouse.” I said. Judith reached around the back and gave a switch a delicate flick. In an instant, the dusty rooms inside the dollhouse flickered to life – each illuminated by tiny glass fixtures and lamps. Even the fireplace began to glow. “They don’t know where it is?” Judith inquired.
“No, they have no possible idea where it is. Is there a key, Judith? Do you think you could help us find it?”Judith turned back to her dolls. I sighed and leaned closer. I was going to ask again when my eye fell on a small, golden object in the dollhouse. “Judith!” I exclaimed! “Is that…?

I'll admit I'm very nervous when posting my writing anywhere. There are so many deviants out there who are INCREDIBLE writers (as well as artists) and writing has always been a tough spot for me. This particular case was difficult. It took three different tried to finally fit the dollhouse into the story and even now something just...doesn't sit right with me. I wrote it at microorganism-trying-to-get-from-point-A-to-point-B pace. (Point "A" being my cousin's house in North Carolina and point "B" being Canada.)
