This is sooo true, life indeed is a matter of point of view/perspective/what direction YOU CHOOSE to look and focus on, if it's positive, you get positive results, and if it's negative...well... you know the rest

That noise you added in doesn't work too well. Maybe put a different texture in?

If you're not familiar with Kiliang Eng, you should check his art out c:
Simply stunning! Love the mix of anime (I get the feeling at least) and the retro-feel conjured by the use of delicate line art and paper texture. Wonderful colors! I have a thing for bluish-green grass - so dreamlike >_<
Love the character concept, too! Would love to make a graphic novel, myself, some day!

I'm really, really loving these comics. The story is very light and quirky, the undertones deep, and the monsters and ghosts unsettling. Will this be sold or posted online? Where can I find it?
INEEDMOOOORRRRRRRE HAha(:
PS I heard the Viking-Alien comic Facebook page refer to you as a "young artist" If I'm not being too personal, how old are you? Because if you're in high school or 18 or something I'm going to die of envy Haha(:

Nah, I'm 28. Β I'm barely 'young'.
I'm really glad you like Necropolis, man! It's gonna be sold andΒ posted online, but neither for a little while. Β You can follow it on my dA page for sure, I'll be letting people know what's up and when it's available.

I *love* this panel and am now off to dig up more - but wanted to ask first if you have played or seen the artwork for Sword&Sworcery by SuperBrothers? A game for iOS featuring a fascinatingly fleshed-out world and mythology. The protagonist is a Scythian shepherdess (if I recall correctly), a lone quest-er.
Your setting (stone, forest, sense of isolation in a dangerous/uncertain place) reminds me a lot of the super-pixelated/flat visuals of the world of S&S, but brought to 'life'. I'm sure your stories deviate, but in this one set of panels at least, there's some beautiful complementarity.
Not an artist myself, but a long-time figure model with an active mind, and an appreciation for your work

Hey thanks! Β Yeah I played Sword&Sworcery a few years back, and LOVED IT. Β I hadn't thought about it in quite a while, but now that you mention it the look (esp. the color) of Necropolis has got to be influenced by that game. Β S&S is probably my favorite take on that genre. Β So flattering to be compared to it in any way!

this hits me, i know im giving a maybe far fetched own interpretated meaning to this comic :') , but it is because i can relate to both the hero and the characters hiding. i'm comming to the point of starting to understand prograstination, and i'm learning the cognitive skill to trick it off. it no longer paralises me to draw so much, i hope i can hold on to this.
I flipping love your work. styles colors everything, it makes me warm

Beautiful. Reminiscent of an otherworldly Hellboy.
What do you use to colour, might I ask? I want to say paintbrush markers but... I can't say if it's digital or not.
