Description
The Colt Defense CM901 is a new modular weapons system with easily interchangeable barrels and receivers to easily convert it to an assault rifle, carbine, DMR or LMG.
This one is a carbine/AR variant, with an ACOG scope on top.
Its design is heavily based on the M16/M4 line of firearms.

This was probably the longest time I've ever worked on a single existing firearm (3 hours), but it shows. I also had to work upon a hideously out-of-focus reference picture, thus not all of the details look proper. Barrel went over the edge of the first A4 again, so slight shading inconsistency there.

Done with a 3H = 4½ pencil, a High Light eraser and a stomp.
