The M5A2 "TiburΓ³n" is a derivative of an older NAP design, before the NAP and NLA decided to joint their arms production to the FAA.The M5A2 assault rifle uses the heavy version of the 7.62 Marcial round, and contains 28 of them in its magazine. It is the standard-issue service rifle of the United American Alliance.

I looked at this weapon and remebered the name, it's the same as the M5A2 from the game Resistance 3

IT IS...
Wow. Mind = Blown. I never based this on anything else than taking some slight design notions from the M4A1, but still, this classifies as different enough from R3's M5A2. This hasn't got the AWM-style handle, and the overall design is a bit different.
Add on top that the R3 M5A2 seems to be gas-operated, not delayed blowback.
