Description
A body practise of no great originality, themed around massive fungal infection to make it interesting. He's pinned to a wall and invaded by the tendrils, which may in turn be using him to stay alive, or even keeping him somewhat alive.
.. I doubt the second one, though, looking at that skintone.

*grins* No doubt inspired by the Hybrid Many, but I hadn't noticed - good point. Equally inspired by Aliens, I think.
Ahrr.. Bioshock was good, but it did not live up to the legacy.

Nice work - and good shadows. The only thing it's lacking is a little texture (maybe something grungy applied as an overlay or multiply layer in Photoshop).

*smiles* Exactly what I was just rambling about to a friend; I'm starting to feel comfortable in my progress with form and anatomy - not that I'm good with them yet, but that I feel no barrier preventing me from practising them successfully - But that my latest discovered ignorance is texture. I enjoy blending too much, creating smooth, fluid images - but haven't yet 'clicked' with specular highlights, shiny surfaces, rough surfaces and a sense of different materials..
Thanks for the feedback - It is truly appreciated

No probs - and I'm glad to hear you're not struggling against any perceived barriers. It's an easy trap to fall into, but at the end of the day there's nothing to genuinely hold you back - unless you have no hands with which to draw, of course.
