Thank you. When I draw my half elf OC I lose the shape of the eyes sometimes. The lines I draw my features on become straight and not curvy. Very helpful!

I'm very happy you found it helpful!
Elf eye shapes are more almond-like (at least, that's what I prefer) than ordinary eyes. Now since elves are creatues of myth/legend/fantasy, you can do pretty much whatever you like, as long as you do it convincingly. Personally, I prefer the style of Larry Elmore - the famed original artist for the DragonLance novels; search for "Larry Elmore Laurana" on google image search; you'll see what I mean. When I draw elf characters, I base them on his designs (in regards to eye shape and ear shape/size).
* Laurana is an elfmaid character from the DragonLance universe.

I remember that! I have some of his books and I read the series too.
My character does have almond shaped eyes but they are not the size of say, Wendy Pini`s elves. They are more proportionate and closer to what you`re used to. I could use the `not human`card on a lot of things in my fellow`s features, LOL, but I prefer not to!
