so yeah, he finally grew. i was so effing excited for him and he got so much hotter after that. he grew in the manga too but seeing it in action is so much more epic.anyhow i thought it was funny that winry didn't notice it. i mean, she's been taller than him for like five-six years and she doesn't realize she's talking up to the boy she always called pipsqueak?

you have to look closely at the anime and winry makes a little mention of it that same day. something to the effect of 'did his shoulders get broader?'. i noticed it when he went up to greedling and was about the same height all of a sudden cuz he was shorter than ling when they first met. i rewound it and saw that he was taller than winry. i don't think they make as big a deal in the manga

haha. yeah he actually grows. it's a very subtle thing and a lot of people have commented that they never saw it. it actually didn't hit me until he was going down the stairs in the next scene and was talking to greedling and i was like, he looks closer to his face. i think he got taller! and rewound it.

yeah this is from brotherhood. if you like FMA then watch brotherhood. both animes were good but brotherhood was just made so much better. it's true to the manga and has a lot more action.

I don't know.....my boyfriend and I are a little leary of Brotherhood. We bought the whole FMA series with the collector's tins, we love it so much, and I guess we're hesitating because we don't see how it could get any better. You know, fear of disappointment!

believe me. you will NOT be disappointed. if you love the manga and have read it all the way through then you will most definitely love brotherhood. it's technically just like sitting there literally watching the manga. they skip over a couple of chapters in the beginning (like the mines and stuff) because they were already brought out in the first one but what is to come? amazing. it's my all time favorite anime and manga so don't be afraid. jump right in there... (i even have a journal on this

girl i can give you plenty of scan sites. i'm a manga reader too and them things are too expensive for the time spent reading them ($7.99-$9.99 x 1hr = shouldn't cost that much 
what i did was go to wikipedia and found a list of mangas. i went through every one of them and picked all the ones i wanted to read, saving them for future reference. then, i found all the manga scan sites i could find and looked them up. i have a huge list of mangas to read now. it's so much better because you know how sometimes you have those mangas that look cool and then you buy them and you're like 'i really wouldn't ever read them again' and then have to sell them for the price they're really worth ($1.99)? reading the scans helps because you can read them and be like 'well that was good...' but if i wasn't like the best ever then you don't have that regret of buying the whole series and everything. i read them online and then i only buy them if i would absolutely want to read them over again (i.e.: FMA, ouran, fruits basket, etc.) plus, if there's a manga you find but you just can't seem to get it in your bookstores or libraries, then you're able to have them on the computer. there are many mangas that i have read that are just now starting to get exposure and coming to america because i read them online first.
i would most definitely consider scanlations if you're an avid manga reader. as said i can give you sites and stuff but im' not going to really name names because it seems that every time i do, they take the manga down

I guess it's kind of like the music industry. The artists and labels are so bent out of shape over pirating, but they don't seem to realize most of the people downloading free music are doing so because they wouldn't be able to afford the music they want. People who can afford it tend to just buy the CD!
