On Monday I take in the actual framed piece to hang in a exhibit of work by staff of the Seattle Art Museum. It will not be in a classy gallery, but it is a public hallway where people will see it. I just have to promise not to list it on my resume as having shown my work at the museum. It is the symbolic beginning of my year for coming out of the closet with my art - I've already got a lead on a possible small gallery show.
