I've always wanted to create this sort of robot/ android chick loosely based off the terminator idea, I love to write stories see and I've been told i'm really good at that, but I can't draw for SH$% unfortunately...so it is always hard for me to describe exactly what I have in my head.

This is RIDICULOUS! The words used to describe this would be visionary, vivid, well conceived, well executed, kickass and the best part is the heavenly terminator model, she's too beautiful to be real. Great work all the way around, way to take a good idea and make it F***ing awesome!

Thanks Mr. Swaggur! Fawn is a "kickass" model for certain. She's got the spirit and inner strength of a superhero, or (depending on how you see Terminators), a supervillian. And as you can see, her beauty isn't only skin deep; there's hypermetal alloy in there! We appreciate your kind words BTW!

Its no worries Mr.Brey, one last thing is, one day i aspire to have a career such as yours. Keep up the awesome work, every photo is an inspiration to us college kids trying to find guidance or an arrow going somewhere.

That means a lot to me, and I think that if any of the models read it, to them as well. We really love to create images together. We do it for fun, and for self-expression as much as for money. So I hope what we do is an inspiration to college students. When I was a student, I took inspiration from the works of many great photographers, and it felt like an endless uphill battle to get to be as good as them. But I have to tell you that the striving and the self-development and exploration is all worth the effort. If I have any condensed knowledge worth imparting to a college student, it is to create the best work you can first, then worry about how you are going to make money from it. The latter will follow if you really work on the former. Life is too short to only focus on money. When I look back on a given year of my life, I do not say "that year was a big earner." I say, "that was a great year for making images! Look at all the amazing things we created!"

Thanks. The metal parts are from a 15" tall terminator toy I have. I posed him the same as the model in the very same lighting. It made for a very real looking combination.

Another job well done. I love this one. Even your prop choice of an airsoft G36 is perfect for it and its pose. Am i right about the gun?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JamesBrey In reply to jason611 [2009-04-22 05:27:26 +0000 UTC]

I don't know if the gun is exactly that model, it was a no name gun purchased on ebay for under $20.

jason611 In reply to JamesBrey [2009-04-22 05:35:09 +0000 UTC]

Well im pretty sure its supposed to look like a G36c ([link] )

Which was a good choice on your part because its a very futuristic weapon along with the P90 (its so futuristic its not even mostly metal, its plastic)

Either way, for 20 bucks you acquired a very nice prop.

Good eye, that is very similar! Yea, I think I did alright for the price, it shoots airsoft and the laser site works, looked great in T-800 Fawn's hand too.

wow what an amazing new "Deviation"

I love how the lighting on her metal leg is exactly the same with the original on her full body

as usual...fantastic work

JamesBrey In reply to fire-fingers [2009-04-21 20:05:24 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for noticing, I did indeed shoot the robot leg in the exact same light that I had shot her in. It's the only way to get it right!

Thanks. Getting the lighting exactly the same on the machine leg as on the shot of Fawn was paramount to getting it to look just right. I shot the T-800 in the same lighting and the very same pose she had struck

Miss Fawn, making War sexy, one killer robot at a time.

G36, not bad. I've never seen a P-rail handguard on one before. Nice. Now, the real question, does it shoot plastic or lead?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JamesBrey In reply to SteinUlf [2009-04-20 21:19:45 +0000 UTC]

Future weapons shoot something that can penetrate hyper alloy. Sorry, couldn't resist. Truth= plastic.
