Comission forHe requested me to draw Applejack looking like a bounty hunter, stepping into a bar pushing one of those doors with a hoof, while holding a cigar in her mouth. Maybe a scar on her face. The important part of the drawing is that she had to look badass. As I was making the drawing I was getting vibes to "The Dark Tower" and its protagonist, The Gunslinger. So I threw in a cape, and a gun, because why not? It's all towards making a pretty badass picture, isn't it? I had way too much fun with the making of this drawing, so much so that I didn't want to finish it. But here it is, finished.
I now feel like I should make an entire series of pictures taking place in the wild west starring each of the Mane Six. Don't you think that's a good idea?

Oh, and as for the picture itself, I really love the shading that you did on this. It really does feel like a picture that takes place at sundown.

Well, you can see some sunset behidn her, and below her. It's getting dark since the sun is setting and the upper sections of the sky are turning black.
