Commission forTo continue on the line of illustrations with characters of MLP mixed with characters from Fallout, here you have Twilight Sparkle, Moondancer and Spike as members of the Brotherhood of Steel. It didn't take me long to figure out that Twilight should be either an Elder or a Head scribe, and Moondancer had to be only slightly below rank respect Twilight. Spike was going to be a Paladin, there was no doubt on that regard, but I wasn't sure if young Spikey-Wikey would've been fit to put on the armor and act as (what is essentially) a bodyguard. So I aged him up, gave him a plasma rifle (because of his green flame) and there you go. I like this badass version of Spike, I hope you guys do too.
I was both looking forward and dreading to draw the archives of the Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout: New Vegas. Despite how long it took me to draw them, I quite enjoyed it from beginning to end, and I think they turned out somewhat good. I'll let you guys judge the depth of field and quality of the background in the comments. By the by, the costumes of the Brotherhood of Steel are amazing. I'd kill to have one of them.

Where did you learn to do the art that you do?

I went to art school in Madrid for two years, and I also have a degree in graphic design and illustration. Besides that I've learned everything else from reading tutorials online and coming out with my own techniques to develop my art style.
Still, I'm always learning new things, and so should everyone else. One never becomes a full-on professional, you're always learning something new.

Oh that's not a barn. It's the archives hub on the BoS bunker from Fallout New Vegas.

I assumed it was a stable (the fallout equestira version of a vault), silly me

The BoS is portrayed as even bigger sociopaths in New Vegas, which is fine because I never liked their goodie-two-shoes portrayal in Fallout 3. I can understand why you don't want to go see them, the only cool thing they have is the bunker's design and their costumes/armor.

Their costumes don't interest me much, I think that the riot-gear that the NCR rangers wear still looks the best.

All the clothes, armor and costumes in the Fallout universe fascinate me. I'm a frustrated costume designer, so I have a big appreciation for them.

I always like going over them and finding the little details, like the 45d has an oxygen recycling system in it that you can see from the outside and the riot gear has armor pieces underneath the cloak

The Brotherhood of Steel was really unlikable in New Vegas, and more than once I wanted to blow them to pieces. It's funny how the NCR happens to be the most sensible group of them all, despite them being quite unreasonable at times.

Excellent art work, as per usual. While I dont feel the most qualified to provide feedback with my limited experience creating artwork, but I shall give the best I can. The only thing I can think of is the hallway in the background, it appeared to be the greatest challenge in this artwork, depth looks good but the steel beams dont appear to be uniform, this could also be due to the angle of the center post.Β Hope this helps. Yeah, the beams don't have a more structural feel to them because I drew them hand-free, instead of drawing straight lines. I tried a new thing with it, see if people dig it.
