Description The year is 2063. My Great granddaughter is about to embark on a two week slow cruise to the moon and back. Technically the spacecraft, which features the latest "UFO" (actually human) technology, is able to translocate to the moon, or anywhere else in the cosmos, almost instantly. But where is the romance in that?Β

Incidentally a few interesting facts about the future:

Passports, visas and other identification documents such as birth certificates no longer exist. No form of biometric or other security systems are necessary for travel or any other reason.

Humanity has entered a post-scarcity mode of existence and so all the problems of war, poverty and enmity no longer exist.

The NWO has been dismantled by the people and centralized governments no longer exist.Β

There is so much more to tell you.. But another time..

Β I kinda would've liked it better if it just had some wings. I mean, if you have unlimited resources, you minus well make your ships look more stylish.

Β Without them, this model looks more like an oversized shuttlecraft. Then again, maybe Matt Jefferies would approve of that!

I wanted it to have a minimal modern cruise ship feel.
When diesel powered metal ships appeared after the age of sail and steam, ships no longer carried sails. by analogy future spacecraft no longer need wings. But I'm sure that some future cruise spaceships will have retro styling with wings and possibly even sails. There will be no limit to expression in design.

JESzasz In reply to JamesF63 [2015-06-22 13:45:45 +0000 UTC]

Β Well, I think you succeeded in that aspect. It does look like a futuristic small cruise ship.

I agree with your assessment. Once money is no longer a factor, it'll be a case of "whatever floats your boat".

JamesF63 In reply to JESzasz [2015-06-23 15:28:58 +0000 UTC]

I agree. I imagine that someone or some group will, in the future, build Spaceships that look like ancient sailing vessels and replicate spacecraft from science fiction stories and movies. And I'm sure any ET individuals or groups would do exactly the same thing based on their science fiction and sailing heritage. I certainly would. The first spaceship I would build would look very similar to the Jupiter 2. The second would look just like the Star Ship Enterprise.

Β I'd have to agree with other civilizations building ships based on their own beloved science fiction series. I'd love to see what their imagination conceived.Β

i think you should tone down the whole trans-dimensional thing...even with this technology trans-D is many many years away.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JamesF63 In reply to themandorian [2015-02-26 03:41:07 +0000 UTC]

It depends on your interpretation or definition of transdimentional. I think interstellar and intergalactic travel will be by tuning out of this reality, selecting another co-ordinate and reappearing in the place you want. I think that's how ET people travel around the universe. Or something like that. I've listened to a few talks by Bashar (channelled by Darryl Anka). His explanation of such travel is compelling. It may be closer than you think. In fact this technology may well have existed in black projects for decades.Β

somewhat...but this technology being so complex will likely be far away even with the aliens. the first ships will likely go to near stars and interplanetary. most of the interstellar missions will be big ships like your flying house complete with food and a communication system just in case it breaks. the technological potential will be massive in the early stages. the technology your describing will likely be interplanetary or maybe something hobbyist would use and scientist will work on before it comes out full force. bashars predictions are awesome in regards to the 2015-2020s. he paints a cool picture of a post disclosure world

I think you could be right. But don't forget that human development went from the Wright Flyer to the Apollo moon mission within one generation. I chose the 2063 date because I'll be 100 years old in that year. But most likely we'll be hopping around the solar system learning how to walk before we run.Β
I'm really glad you know about Bashar. He's the one who got me to follow my passion of doing art.Β

Β If I might chime in: going from propellors to rocket engines is one thing, and they both emit some form of exhaust.

Β I suspect that the E.T.s might actually use some form of Albecurrie's warp drive, and move space around them.

Β Then again, I've heard of the possibility of at least one of these races being at least a million years old. A lot can be invented in that time, including something that is transwarp for all intents and purposes.

Β I'd love for this sort of thing to be around the corner, but I doubt it. The powers that be might be willing to kill the entire planet, rather than let go of power. At least if they are as evil as some say.

JamesF63 In reply to JESzasz [2015-06-23 15:37:27 +0000 UTC]

Everything you say makes sense to me. However there is a possibility that such technology already exists in deep black multi trillion dollar projects in what Richard Dolan terms the 'Breakaway Civilization'. Ben Rich (Former Lockheed Skunk Works CEO) said in a talk he gave that "we now have the technology to take ET home.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JESzasz In reply to JamesF63 [2015-06-23 23:41:43 +0000 UTC]

Β I've heard that this "Breakaway Civilization" does exist in the form of a fleet of ships and at least one military base on Luna (no wonder they'd want to keep attention away from there).

Β The story gets worse, with Nazis high up in the hierarchy, and prepared to unleash a zombie virus on the planet, if things fall out of their control.

Β Like I said, it is said the powers that be are as close to evil as humanly possible, not to mention absolutely power hungry.

I love the mix of jetliner, spacecraft and cruise ship you've got going on in this concept. Β The drawing is very well-realised also, but for me it's the design that really stands out, and the small details like the cherry-picker vehicle making the last-minute preflight checks help to make the whole scene feel that little bit more real too.

Thanks such. I was very happy to read your comments. I think space tourism will be a big part of our future. I'm glad you got the combination of jetliner, spacecraft and cruise ship. That was exactly what I was trying to achieve. The airport in this picture is a connection point for spacecraft and aircraft. Once my granddaughter has returned from her trip, she can easily connect to an aircraft to take her back to her city. Perhaps the term Aerospaceport will be common in the future.
there is a limit to what I can realistically portray using colour pencils, but I'm happy that Im able to at least give some expression to high tech concepts using such a low tech medium.
thanks again for your message. I very much appreciate it.

Jasper, I'm so sorry to hear of the recent passing of your beloved mother. But I was very moved by your beautiful message and your commitment to making this world a better place. Your mother would be very proud.
I have learned that we best contribute to the advancement of humanity, not by working, but by doing what we Love. Also by doing what we Love, we will find happiness. You have a a wonderful creative artistic gift. Perhaps through doing art you could honor your commitment to bettering the world. Art, after all, is a powerful tool for change; for the artist has a gift of the imagination, and before anything is created, it must first be imagined.Β
Thank you so much for message. I was deeply moved by it.
Your future is very bright.

Thank you James, and for the record, my name isn't Jasper, it's actually Maxwell, I didn't feel like giving my real name on Deviantart. Anyway, you're truly right, she would be proud, and I can't tell you how much she encouraged my artistry and creativity, she really believed in me, and I certainly believe in myself even more now than before. But I still have my brothers and sisters, seven of them actually, and my beloved Aunt Julie, mom's older sister. We'll all move though this phase of our lives together and it will be difficult but the human spirit I believe is far stronger than most people even realize, and we'll make it through this transition just fine.Β
Still, it's just so hard you know, if you've ever lost someone really close to you, you know hard it must be. I mean, I was actually the one to find her body, and I was the one who had to call 911 and spread the news to everyone else. Because, she wasn't just my mother, she was my best friend. I literally had no one else, no one who came over and visited and I was living in our with just my brother and sister and we never had a really strong bond. This feels unreal, like a dream or a nightmare...
But she was suffering, she was a drug addict and she was miserable, hopefully in the new world we create together, no one else will have to experience what I experienced. Seeing my mom wasting a way like that, I could almost sense her time was near...

I want to say more, but I'll have to do so tomorrow. Please stay strong my friend.
