Description
Canada's east coast is such a great place, it's very photogenic and I love visiting. The best part, is that it is not overrun by tourists like so many other areas of Canada. But there is one major problem with the maritime provinces, the weather. I spent two weeks there last fall and the autumn leaves were the best I had seen in years but it was overcast throughout most of my trip. The other problem with the weather out that way is the wind, it blows almost constantly which makes an already cold day down right freezing. Despite that I did get some good light popping up here and there and this was one of those evenings. The sun peaked out from the clouds just as it was setting and I was treated to a very odd sunset with colours that I have never witnessed before. This photo was taken well after sunset but you can still see some of the lingering reddish/purple colour lingering in the clouds.Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
