Description
Been a while since I posted anything here. This is from a recent 7-day backpacking trip to Killarney. I had decent skies for the first three days but after that the weather went straight downhill. There was rain, snow and sub zero temperatures created by the stormy 60km an hour winds. By the 6th day everything I had with me was completely water logged (except for my camera) and a few articles of clothing. We had received more than 50mm of rain over the last couple days which did not make for good photography. I had my work cut out for me on the final day with 24km to get back to the campground. By the time I got out of the mountains in into the lowlands, the trail had turned into a river and I had long given up trying to keep my feet dry. Despite it all it was a great trip that I will never forget. I even got a few good photos.

Fantastic scenery!! This isn't the Killarney in Ireland is it? Doesn't look like it. I presume it's in south eastern Canada. Looks like fantastic hiking country.
