Description I visited this lake for the first time about 7 years ago and knew that it was something special. I have wanted to take an image that effectively represents this beautiful and unique location and I think with this scene I have effectively done so. With the combination of beautiful light and the right time of year all of the elements in this scene just seamed to fall into place. I wish I could wake up to this view every morning. This image is made really special by the tree at the tip of the rock. I like hot it is pointing away from the image, leaving something of a mystery as to what is beyond the left edge of the photograph.
